GHD Banded Leg Lifts
I am banded at/above my ankle and lifting one leg at a time. As I lift, I am focusing on using my glute to do the work and holding for 2 seconds at the top. 🤗*The video is sped up.
GHD Banded Double Leg Lift
I am banded at/above both my ankles. Again, I am focusing on lifting with my glutes 🔥and relaxing my lower back. I have a pretty good grip on the foot plate of the machine to help keep my body steady. If you don’t have this machine, you can easily use a back extension machine (plus/minus the band). I will post a improvising video of this soon. 👌🏻
Cable Quadruped Hip Extension
70lbs was heavy for me, totally shaking 🥵. This exercise is Gold 🤩 and you should be incorporating it into your glute sessions 🔥🍑! I am down on my forearms because I can better contract my glutes and relax my low back. If you prefer being on your hands, go for it! 👍🏻
Cable Glute Focused Squat
To transfer the load into your glutes, try keeping your shins vertical and not allowing them to be pulled forward as you squat. Don’t forget to drive hard through your heels and not fall forward onto your toes. Goodie Goodie 🤩
Banded Leg Press
I am banded above my knees and pressing hard through my heels (peep how my toes can lift). I am pressing with a fairly wide stance, narrower stance and then feet touching. Let your hamstrings and glutes do the work!!
